The Land Rover Defender 42110 (2019, 2,573 pieces) is a detailed replica of the new-generation Defender, and a favourite with off-road fans.
Features
- 4-speed sequential gearbox with a high/low range.
- Permanent four-wheel drive with three differentials.
- Independent suspension, working winch and opening doors, bonnet and tailgate.
- Roof rack with accessories and an inline-6 engine with moving pistons.
Build experience
The gearbox is the trickiest part. LEGO later updated some parts for smoother shifting, so take extra care when assembling it and test every gear before closing the chassis.
