Batman's car has been built in many LEGO themes, but the Technic versions focus on engineering and scale. Here's how the two Technic Batmobiles compare.
The Batman – Batmobile 42127
Based on the 2022 film, this muscle-car Batmobile features a V8 with moving pistons, working steering and a light brick that makes the engine glow. Its dark, raw look matches the film perfectly.
Batmobile Tumbler 42239
The armoured, tank-like Tumbler from the Dark Knight trilogy, rebuilt in Technic. Its angular bodywork and huge rear tyres make it a striking display piece.
Which one to choose?
- Want light effects and a classic muscle-car shape? Choose 42127.
- Want the most aggressive, iconic movie vehicle? Choose the Tumbler.

Buying tips
For 42127, check that the light brick works (it uses coin batteries). For both sets, make sure all dark-grey and black panels are present, as they're easy to mix up with other sets.
