The Technic "Ultimate" series is LEGO's line of large-scale supercars, each around 3,000–4,000 pieces and built at roughly 1:8 scale. Together they form one of the most popular collections in LEGO history.

The series so far

Which one should you start with?

If you want the most iconic gimmick, choose the Chiron. If you want maximum shelf impact, the Sián. If you value finish and detail, the Daytona SP3. Retired models are increasingly found pre-owned, which is often the most affordable option.

Smaller alternatives

Not enough room for a 1:8 car? The Porsche 911 RSR 42096 and the Ferrari 488 GTE 42125 are mid-size race cars with real liveries, and the Bugatti Bolide Agile Blue 42162 is a quick, affordable build.

Displaying a collection

These cars are around 50–60 cm long. A deep shelf (at least 30 cm) and an angled layout make them look their best. Dust them regularly with a soft brush.
